A lot of Filipinos, probably majority of the Filipinos has this notion that a true Filipino has a kayumangi skin. Another notion is one should be fluent in Tagalog.

So American Idol second placer Jessica Sanchez has a kayumangi (brown) skin. So that makes her a true Filipino.

One thing that is missing to fully complete her Filipino-ness is her Tagalog. She should practice Tagalog, she should talk straight.
