Yes, Jesus is undoubted because he fulfilled what the Scripture says, (Isiah 7:14, Matt. 1:18-23, Gal.4:4), but, to Apollo Quiboloy there is no any single verse in the entire Scripture that mentioning about him as the Son of God. Actually you can never find in the entire Scripture the name “APOLLO QUIBOLOY”, So, how can he claim that he is the Son of God?
For your information the title of Jesus Christ “SON OF GOD is referring to His DIVINE NATURE, now if Quiboloy claiming that he is the SON OF GOD he is claiming also that he is God. The Seven Bible Tests of a True Prophet
Introduction: Num. 12:6 “And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, [I] the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, [and] will speak unto him in a dream.”
Often God uses dreams and visions to reveal His will to mankind.
Test # 1) Isa. 8:20. “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.”
The “law” here is a reference to the “Law of Moses,” the first five books of the Old Testament, which also contain the Ten Commandments law, and “testimony” is a reference to the rest of the Old Testament, and by extension including the New Testament, which also contains the “testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 12:17), that both together explain what the “Law of Moses” means in mankind’s practical experience.
True prophet’s sayings are totally consistent with all that the Holy Spirit has already revealed in Scripture.
Test #2) Jer. 23:14. “I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness. v.16, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, [and] not out of the mouth of the LORD.”
True prophets will reprove other prophet’s sins, rather than conspire to support one-another’s claims.
Test #3) Jer. 28:9. “The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, [then] shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.”
True prophet’s predictions must come to pass, ALL of them.
Test #4) Mt. 7:15. “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. … Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither [can] a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. …Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
True prophets lead people to repentance and humility before God, and to love their fellow humans. They never lead people to become competitive, prideful or self-exalting.
Test #5) 1 Jn. 4:2. “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:” (See also Hebrews 4:15. Jesus “was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.”)
True prophets confess that Jesus came in our “fallen” human flesh, yet He got the victory over every sin and all sin, just as we can, through connection with His Father and our Father.
Test #6) Dan. 10:17. “For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.”
True prophets have no strength or breath of their own while in vision, but supernatural strength from God.
Test #7) Jn. 1:15. “John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.”
True prophets exalt Christ alone, but never their own abilities.

You dont know how to give a sound interpretation of the Bible. To understand the book of Revelation, the safest procedure is to cast it against the background of the general context of the book where it is located. This book was addressed to the seven churches in Asia Minor during the reign of the Roman Empire. Christians during that time suffered severe persecutions from the Romans and pagans persecutors. Rev. 2:8-13 are some examples. Facts of history also testifies this event where many christians were put to a horrible death. Thats why Rev. 21:7 says, “he that overcomes shall inherit all things and I will be his God and he shall be my son.” Who will overcome the persecutions in that passage, si Quiboloy ba? ang layo naman! hindi pa tayo tao noon! They were the early christians who struggled hard for the sake of their faith to God, hindi si Quiboloy! Another one is Rev. 21:2. I would like to post additional comments regarding the topics I mentioned earlier, the fulfillment of Rev.21:2. One rule to be considered in bible interpretation is what we called “context”. I am sure Quiboloy knows this for he is a long time evangelist. There are two classes of context, immediate and remote. In the case of Rev. 21:2, it is an immediate context because the fulfillment of this verse, the coming of the new Jerusalem is after the event pictured in verse 1 of the same chapter. Another rule is by the use of supporting verse. The book of 2 Peter 3:10 supports the event saw by John in Rev.21:1. Peter said “but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in the which the heaven shall pass away with a great noise and the elements shall melt with a fervent heat, the earth also and the works therein shall be burned up” he further says in verse 12 “as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming, that day will bring about the destruction of the heavenly by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat” So both Peter and John speaks of the end of the world and we know pretty well that this is on judgment day. Then what is next?, it is the coming of the Holy City, the new Jerusalem [Rev.21:2]

Many people are not aware of the rules and guidelines that should be followed in the interpretation of the Holy Scripture. This is one of the various reasons why many were misguided, and Quiboloy is one, together with his blind followers. Sound interpretation can be acquired through the study of hermeneutic particularly the sacred hermeneutic. False doctrines and beliefs will surely arise if a person lacks know-how in dealing with the words of God. This was what happened to Quiboloy when he proclaimed himself as the appointed son of God in this “last days”. He cited a verse to show proof. I will discuss this matter. One day I watch ACQ in his daily TV program channel 39. He is speaking before a large crowd composed of his followers and listeners. Quiboloy said that one time a man questioned him about his self-proclaimed authority being the appointed son of God. The man says, “if God appointed you as His son, where can you find your name written in the bible?”. He replied, “if we read the entire contents of the bible can we find written words which says “Apollo C Quiboloy the appointed son of God?”, certainly not”. Note that Quiboloy admitted that his name was not written but wait, this deceiver, the real serpent seed have lots of fibs in his arsenal. He cited 1 Corinthians 2:9, “But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of men, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. Quiboloy concluded that the passage speaks about him although his name was not written. The crowd, upon hearing him was so elated, happy and claps their hands joyfully. How pity these people they are. Because of their ignorance to the words of God, they fell to the demonic bait laid by the Devil through one of his emissary, no other than ACQ. I will discuss the message imparted by Paul to the saints in Corinth, the verse used by Quiboloy, 1 Cor. 2:9. This passage was quoted by Paul from the book of Isaiah 64:4. The prophet Isaiah speaks about the nation Israel who were the true people of God. That even before other people have not heard nor seen by their eye this true and living God except the Israelites. But because of their iniquity, God punished them [Isaiah 64:5-12] thats why they are begging for mercy. But He prepared good things to those who follows His will. Paul used Isaiah 64:4 as pattern of 1 Corinthians 2:9. The center of his message refers to Christ which the Corinthians who were once in darkness knows nothing about Christ. They have not seen, nor heard Him, neither have entered faith in their heart. The apostles preaches Christ as the power and wisdom of God [1 Corinthians 23-24] They speaks of Him through mystery [1 Corinthians 2:7-8] It was Christ that God the Father have prepared to them and to all who loves Him for no man can goes to Him except through Jesus Christ!!! And the mystery which before was not known to humanity, but now it was revealed through the Spirit of God [1 Corinthians 2:10] This is what 1 Corinthians 2:9 means. The passage DOES NOT refer to Quiboloy! NO WAY! NEVER! IMPOSSIBLE!. It is all about the good tidings concerning the power and wisdom of God, NO OTHER THAN HIS SON, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!! who was given the SOLE AUTHORITY to save mankind. HINDI si Quiboloy!!!

I may have criticized Quiboloy’s erroneous teachings, but I still respect him. He is still a man of God but have wandered.
Believe it or not, Quiboloy is the appointed son of the Devil. The voices whom he heard in Korea and upon his return to the Philippines all came from Satan. This Demon revealed all his satanic and deadly schemes to his most trusted blind envoy Quiboloy while they were in mount Tamayong. Do you know the most potent weapon used by Lucifer to “kill” mankind?, its DECEITFULNESS!!!. This was first used when he made Eve to eat the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden (Genesis 3:13) and this will also be the last weapon he will use in his long struggle against the power of God in his bid to conquer and win the souls of men through out the whole world (Revelation 20:7-8). To all followers of Quiboloy and people who are listening to his program, read this: In my last comment to ACQ dated April 3, 2012 I called him “the appointed son of the Devil” why? because of his being a deceiver like his father Satan. I will show proof to show and confirm that Quiboloy is REALLY the Serpent’s appointed son. Just to prove himself as the “appointed son of God”, he used several chapters and verses from the Holy Scripture which does not refer to him like Rev. 21:7 and 1Cor. 2:9 were I have already made an explanation in my recent comments dated Feb. 21 and 25 respectively. Now I enjoined readers to take a closer look and study some of the other verses used by Quiboloy in his satanic attempt to prove that God had appointed him. First, lets read Hebrew 1:1-2, 1. “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2. Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;”. In his explanation, Quiboloy claimed that the “last days” is now in our present generation and he was the Son appointed by God to heir of all things. SA LAHAT NG MGA NAGAARAL , BUMABASA AT UMUUNAWA NG BIBLIA, SI QUIBOLOY BA YAN?. First, when does the “last days” began? It began when God sent His begotten Son unto this world and He was our Lord Jesus Christ!!! so it is very very clear that the passage spake about Christ, it DOES NOT REFER to Quiboloy and it can NEVER be!!! because the passage further says, 3. “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself PURGED OUR SINS, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE MAJESTY ON HIGH; . To add more about Jesus, the same writer mentioned Him as our high priest. Hebrew 8:1 says, “Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, who is SET ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE THRONE OF THE MAJESTY IN THE HEAVEN; ” Kayong lahat na kasapi at mga naniniwala kay Quiboloy huwag kayong magbulagbulagan, idilat ninyo ang inyong mga mata!!! Siya ba yung tinukoy sa verse 3 na “siyang sinag ng kaniyang kaluwalhatian at tunay na larawan ng kaniyang pagka-Dios at siyang gumawa ng paglilinis ng mga kasalanan at si Quiboloy din ba yung “lumuklok sa kanan ng Karangalan sa kaitaasan?Ang lahat ng iyan ay patungkol lamang sa ating Panginoong Hesus!!! Secondly, ACQ used John 17:2 “As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given me” Again Quiboloy claimed this passage refers to him, that it was God who gave him such power. A good and honest bible reader can easily see the error of Quiboloy. Who was the one referred to in that verse? Its simple, the answer is in verse 1, “These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: Thirdly, Quiboloy said that if you denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also (1 John 2: 23). Hindi naman bulag si Quiboloy, bakit hindi niya makita kung sinong Anak ang tinutukoy ng talata? Siya ba yun? My dear friends and readers, ang tinutukoy po na Anak ay walang iba kundi si Cristo!!! (1 John 2: 22) . Ron, you so much defending your pastror Quiboloy who is claiming courageuosly that he is “the appointed Son of God”, but, my question is, where can you find in the entire Scripture that claim? Can you show me even a single verse in the Bible that supports that claim? It is very easy to claim, even me, I can claim what he is claiming, but, will you accept it? of course not! Me too, I can never accept the claim of your deceived pastor. Let me show to you my disagreement: 1. Quiboloy’s claim as SON OF GOD can never found in the entire Scripture. 2. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself said, that He is the SON OF GOD (not Quiboloy), (Matt. 11:27), 3. The Father said, that Jesus Christ is His Son, (not Quiboloy), (Matt.3:17) 4. Jesus Christ never said that there is another SON OF GOD that will come after Him, instead He strongly warned that there will be coming FALSE CHRIST and many will be decieved, (Matt. 24:4-5).

What the Bible says is clear than what Quiboloy says, what the Bible says is true but what Quiboloy says is false. To all Quiboloy follower, Read the Bible and you will see that Quiboloy is wrong, and you will be free, (Jn. 8:32). Look! all he claiming are all what Jesus said. I watched the video of Quiboloy titled, “SPIRITUAL REVOLUTION”, and I heard, he said that he can change the heart of a person, which only God can do. So, It is undeniably that he is claiming that he is God. Before, I thought that Satan is the most proud. I was wrong, because I realize that Quiboloy is more proud than Satan. I watched also in his TV program that he said that the Bible is the final authority in doing a doctrine about God and spiritual salvation. He precisely correct! But are his teachings biblical? Sure theology is a result of careful studying the biblical record using HERMENEUTICS or THE ART AND SCIENCE OF BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION (or THE RULES OF INTERPRETATION). We only reading and studying the translations which translated from ancient manuscripts which with many gaps (i.e. Language gap, Cultural gap, Chronological gap, etc.) from us, the modern readers. Now, once we ignore this Principle of Interpretation, we can interpret the Scripture according to what we like, as Quiboloy doing, which resulted of damnable teachings or leading to hell teaching. Why I’m saying this? Because, if the Bible tells us that, “Salvation is found in no one else (but only through Jesus), for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12, see also vss.10-11),(see also Jn. 14:6) so, it is very clear that following Quiboloy is leading to hell. He is claiming that he is the SON OF GOD, but the SON OF GOD in the Bible is the SAVIOR. Why, is there any single prophecy in the Bible referring to him? or was he born by a virgin? or is he able to suffer like what Jesus did in the cross of calvary? or if he allow to die on the cross, is he able to resurrect after 3 days. Let him stop his foolishness! and the gracious God might be accept him by His abundant grace.

Mr. Habib Genn, you are entitled to your own opinion. I don’t know if you are a muslim who used the Koran bible or ” simply a believer ” of Christ. The bible used by christians differs from the Koran. To believe that God has Son takes a long study of the Holy Scriptures. To believe that God has no Son is to ignore the facts recorded in the inspired words of God, the Bible. Truly, as you have said, there are lots of sons of God mentioned in the entire contents of the bible, they were mere men but, there is only One begotten Son of God mentioned. I myself, like many people, do believed that God (called the heavenly Father ) have One and only begotten Son which is Jesus who was manifested in the flesh (John 1: 1, 14) and sent by God himself in this world to save mankind (John 3: 16). For other infos regarding God’s Son’ see Mathew 3: 16-17 and Hebrews 1: 1-3. I strongly oppose to what you said that claiming such (God has Son) is inspired by the devil because the Holy Bible containing reliable informations indeed came from the Almighty and men of God was inspired/moved by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1: 20-21) in writing such divine informations.
This is a continuation of my comment to Mr. Habib Genn about his belief that God has no son. I know Mr. Genn also reads or even studying the bible but I am not sure if he completely understand, or have doubt or believe the contents of it. We all know that God is Almighty, Powerful and knows everything so, if we doubt or don’t believe in His words, it also means we doubt, do not believe and accept Him as a True and Perfect God, in other words we have no faith in Him. We became pagan and dead in His sight. The Holy Spirit selected men and guided them in writing God’s words so man may not be deceive and may know and follow the will of the Lord correctly. Peter the apostle wrought; 2 Peter 1:20-21…1. “Knowing this first, that no prophesy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” ..2. “For the prophesy came not in old time by the will of men, but by holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit”. In 2 Samuel 23: 2, King David says; “The spirit of the LORD spake by me, and His word were in my tongue”. By believing, accepting and obeying the words of God we may also become perfect, perfect in the sense that we are abstaining from worldly life and preventing ourselves to commit sin wilfully. The apostle Paul in his letter to 2 Timothy 3: 16-17 states; 16. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” 17. “That the men of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all works.” I laid this foundation to clearly show that the bible really contained God’s infallible words and cannot be refuted but have to accept, believe and follow it. Going back to Mr. Genn’s belief that God has no son, I strongly disagree, why? God has a Son!!!, he is Jesus!!!, the bible confirmed it!!! The proof? let us read the bible passages I posted in my recent comment. 1). John 3: 16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”. Did you notice the passage says ” His (Father) only begotten Son”. 2). Mathew 3: 16-17….16. “And Jesus when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water and lo, the heavens were opened unto him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon him”….17. “And lo a voice from heaven saying. This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased”. 3). John 1: 1, 14. Jesus in the beginning was with the Father and referred in verse 1 as the “Word” 1. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”. Notice that the passage says “the Word” (referring to Jesus) was God! What does it mean? of course logically speaking in very simple analysis, if God the Father has a Son, the only begotten Son is also God! Confused? let us continue reading. This Word was manifested in the flesh to fulfill his mission to save mankind as stated earlier in John 3:16. Verse 14 says “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelth among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth”. Lastly but not the least, the author of the epistle to the Hebrews declared: 1.”God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets” 2. “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things by whom also he made the world”. 3. “Who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high”. I hope Mr Genn may understand what I have explained that the Bible clearly confirmed that God has a Son, contrary to his belief that God is alone and has no son. All humans created by God who accept Jesus and follow the will of the Lord may also be called sons and daughters of God, but God has only One begotten Son and he is no other than Jesus. I am sorry Mr. Genn to say that your belief is just the opposite of what the Bible says, that God has a Son. Your belief is the one inspired by the devil to mislead men from the truth of the True Gospel. If you will considered me as your elder and loving brother, I urged you to take a deeper study of the Holy Scripture with clean heart, mind and spirit so you may know more precious knowledge hidden in the bible but all these will be futile if you don’t believe the Bible.
