The actors and actresses get all the glamor and high paycheck at the expense of the unsung heroes of the film industry: the overlooked secretary, the hardworking film editor, the janitor and so on, all just get a paltry of the millions of the money that it earns.
I used to have an officemate who used to worked for a famous movie production in Manila owned by a certain Mama Liliput. He said, their film editor only get less than 10,000 pesos a month. I could not believe my ears.
