Why are most Filipinos never specific?

I came across an article at ProPinoy.net entitled, The Philippines: First World Country but Third World People.

I would add my own opinion in that number 3 example.

I agree we are not specific. Or rather, we don’t have a proper system, even in our everyday life attitude or responses to the people we deal with.

When people what asks us time shall we go to an event, we reply “5pm siguro”.

Will you send the email tomorrow morning? Our usual reply, “9 or 10am siguro”

We are not firm and specific. We should be firm and specific.

This is the attitude that I’m trying to change the last few months after I watched a video of Black church vs the White church months ago.

In that video I learned something. The Filipinos have some similarities with the Black church in the video. Blacks don’t have a system or is disorganized, while the white church has one.

The Filipinos are economically poor, so are the majority of Black Americans. Because we lacked a system.

The article at ProPinoy and the video are both an eye opener for me. I should change and have a proper system in my everyday life, and the way I do business.

This is most likely one of  the reasons why I’m still not hitting my goals.

I have now divided my tasks. On Tuesdays and Fridays, it’s strictly my blog day. Before, I only blog when I feel like writing.

Next time somebody when will I show up to a certain meetup, I’d say 7pm!
