A lot people have often thought God was behind the sinking of Titanic. 😀
Preachers would often tell their congregation, ‘God sank the Titanic, He was offended after some ship officer uttered the words “The ship’s too big not even the hand of God can sink it.”‘ Then in turn, the badly informed Christians would tell others about the legalistic idea about God.
God did not sink the Titanic, and He was not “offended” when he heard the officer spoke the those “offensive” words. Not sure if that was really spoken, or was just an urban legend.
God is love, as 1 John 4:8 says “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” , and just like any person whether good or evil does not harm the people he loves.
