This is an inspirational video of an autistic basketball player, an unlikely teammate as most of us would think.
People in Manila have a notion that they are the center of correct accent and right pronunciation.
But the longer I stay in the capital city of the Philippines, the more it revealed to me that Metro Manila is too a cradle of funny and erroneous pronunciations.
If you’ve been born in Manila or Luzon, this is for you. If you’re a promdi (from the province), this is a guide for you not to mimic the tagalogs’ pronunciation blunders.

*Because of the popularity of the sport, this error has spread throughout the country.
I therefore conclude that the tagalogs/Luzonians have been fed with erroneous english pronunciations all along.

I can do great things or as a bonus become famous because of the things that i do, but still following the principle below taken from Proverbs 30:7-9 :
There are two things, Lord,
I want you to do for me
before I die:
Make me absolutely honest
and don’t let me be too poor
or too rich.
Give me just what I need.
If I have too much to eat,
I might forget about you;
if I don’t have enough,
I might steal
and disgrace your name.
This ad has been pulled out by Masterfoods inc, the maker of Snickers chololate bar. Gays and Lesbian group in the US were offended by its message.
According to a gay group leader that “That Snickers, Mars and the NFL would promote and endorse this kind of prejudice is simply inexcusable.”
The two guys in the ad did not even “kissed” , their lips just accidentally touched, but even barely. Some people just want to make an issue on trivial things.
The title maybe a bit harsh especially if you’re part of showbusiness in Manila, or you feel insulted if you’re a frequent tagalog movie watcher.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m an avid supporter of everything positive connected to the Philippines. Things like Manny Pacquiao, sports, Philippine Football Team, close family ties. BUT Filipino / Tagalog movies? A BIG NO!
Watching a tagalog movie is a waste of money and time.
I watched Super Noypi in the first week of January out of curiousity to check if the special effects in Philippine movies have improve. What a disappointment. It was like when i was 7 years old during the 80s watching crappy tagalog movies with crappy special effects.
